Dear Mr. Zibello,
We feel incredibly fortunate to have Aaron as our son. He is talented academically, musically and athletically. On the whole he is a confident, and (dare we say it?) well-adjusted boy. He loves life, loves most everything he does. He is an outgoing, fun-loving child. He smiles readily and constantly. He is sensitive to the needs of others.
Learning works best when Aaron is provided with challenge, with material perhaps a bit beyond his reach. When work is too easy, Aaron has a tendency to complete it in a rushed, often imperfect way. He works harder when there is a bit of struggle in it for him. We hope that he will strive for quality work, and always work to his potential. We also hope that he will avoid bringing his natural competitiveness on the ballfield into the classroom, and that he will do his best simply for the sake of learning all that he can.
We’d love to see Aaron’s growing passion for creative writing blossom in your class (not to mention his handwriting!). We hope he enters Brown with a very strong foundation in math.
We’d love to see him be able to respect music and dance without feeling they’re “uncool” or “wimpy.” (How’s that for a teacher challenge?)
We’ve love to see him make new friends, even in this stage of his Mason Rice career.
As he leaves Mason Rice, we hope Aaron will take with him a tremendous love of learning, a yearning to do his best, and lasting friendships. He is incredibly delighted to be in your classroom and we are looking forward to a great year.
