Really, there ought to be a damn parade.

Or fireworks.

Or, at least, free-flowing libation and bear hugs and well wishing.

 

But that’s not our Aaron Davidoff’s style.

 

(And that’s just fine. My Irish sensibilities, too, creep forward when it comes to the goodbye.)

 

Yes, the allure of home is drawing young Aaron back to the East coast.

 

It’s a very fortunate coast, that one.

 

It will inherit Aaron’s intelligence and wit. His commitment and wide-eyed curiosity. His heart and his passion. All cordially wrapped in dimples and humility.

 

His last day on this coast is Thursday. So, ideally, when no one is watching, tell him how much you’ll miss him. How much you can’t wait to see what big thing he does next. And how much you hope that your paths will cross again.
